What Is an OQTF?

An OQTF may be issued:

  • Following the refusal of a residence permit
  • Following the refusal of an asylum application
  • During an identity or immigration check
  • When the authorities consider that you no longer have the right to remain in France
It may be accompanied by:

A voluntary departure period of 30 days

Or it may be issued without a voluntary departure period, allowing for immediate removal
